Direct Entry Captain Requirements

We are always seeking experienced captains to join our growing team. If you're looking for a new challenge, and excited to work with well trained and eager first officers, a command position with Eastern Air Freight is perfect for you!

Minimum Requirements:

✔️ An Australian Air Transport Pilot License - Aeroplane (ATPL-A).
✔️ Australian Multi-Engine Aeroplane Instrument Rating with 2D and 3D endorsements.
✔️ Minimum 3000 hours total time.
✔️ Minimum 1000 hours PIC on type (desirable) or similarly sized aircraft.
✔️ Current CASA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
✔️ ICAO Level 6 English Proficiency.
✔️ Current passport with unrestricted access to all EAF ports of call, minimum 12 months validity remaining at time of employment.
✔️ Currently hold, or have the ability to hold, an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
✔️ Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
✔️ The ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test.
✔️ Hold Australian Citizenship or right to work in Australia.
✔️ Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and professionalism.

Direct Entry First Officer Requirements

We are passionate about putting young and ambitious pilots in jets, giving them a strong start in their aviation career, and fostering their growth in the industry. If you're looking to finally move into an airliner cockpit, this is an excellent opportunity to take your career to the next level.

Minimum Requirements:

✔️ An Australian ATPL (A) or an Australian CPL (A) with passes in all Australian ATPL Theory subjects.
✔️ Australian Multi-Engine Aeroplane Instrument Rating with 2D and 3D endorsements.
✔️ Minimum 500 hours total time (higher time desirable).
✔️ 200 Multi-Engine hours desirable.
✔️ Current CASA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
✔️ ICAO Level 6 English Proficiency.
✔️ Current passport with unrestricted access to all EAF ports of call, minimum 12 months validity remaining at time of employment.
✔️ Currently hold, or have the ability to hold, an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
✔️ Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
